This course is a shorter, focused refresher for pilots who've already completed a Part 102-level qualification, whether through DroneTrust or an equivalent provider, and now need to meet the annual Operational Competency Assessment (OCA) requirement to keep flying under a UAOC.
It focuses on the core skills you need to be developing as you become a more experienced pilot - Threat and Error Management and Hazard Awareness.
If you're not flying under a UAOC, this course also works as a general refresher to keep your Part 102 knowledge current.
This course is for you if:
- You already hold a Part 102 Pilot Certificate (from DroneTrust or an equivalent Part 102-level provider)
- You're flying, or about to fly, under an organisation's Part 102 UAOC and need your annual OCA
- You're on the agricultural pilot pathway and this is your next required step
- You'd simply like to refresh your Part 102 knowledge
Good to know: the OCA needs to be completed annually for pilots operating under a UAOC. This isn't a one-off course. It also resets your Part 102 Certificate expiry to 2 years. If you're just a 102 Certified pilot, looking for a refresher course, this is your go to.
