These terms apply when you buy or enrol in a course, or use our website or learning platform.

1. Enrolment and access

  • Your enrolment starts when payment is received. Course access is provided through our learning platform for [access period, e.g. 12 months] from enrolment.
  • Access is for you only. Do not share your login or course material.
  • You must give accurate identity and contact details. We need these to keep training records and issue certificates.

2. Price and payment

  • Prices are in NZD and exclude GST as shown at checkout.
  • Payment is due in full before access is granted, unless we agree otherwise in writing.

3. Cancellations and refunds

  • [Refund window, e.g. Full refund if you cancel within 7 days of purchase and have not started the course.]
  • No refund once you have [started the course / completed more than X%].
  • Classroom and flight-test bookings: [rescheduling and cancellation notice, e.g. 5 working days].
  • Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993.

4. Certification

  • Completing a course does not guarantee a certificate, rating or CAA approval. Issue depends on you meeting the assessment standard and CAA requirements.
  • Flight tests [are included / are booked and paid separately] and are conducted by independent examiners.
  • We may withhold a certificate if your identity or eligibility cannot be verified.

5. Your conduct

  • Complete assessments yourself.
  • Do not copy, share or resell course material. All content is our intellectual property.
  • We may suspend or cancel your enrolment without refund for cheating, sharing material, or abusive conduct.

6. Liability

  • To the extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the course.
  • If you are acquiring services for business purposes, you agree the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 does not apply.
  • Drone operations you conduct after training are your responsibility, including compliance with Civil Aviation Rules.

7. General

  • New Zealand law applies.
  • We may update these terms. The current version is at dronetrust.co.nz/terms.
